LANTEK 6, 6A and 7Gs as well as LanTEK® II-350, LanTEK® II-500 and LanTEK® II-1000 come ready to test and certify ISO11801 CLASS D and CLASS E systems and TIA 568B Category 6 systems to 250 MHz.
The ISO 11801 ETL LANTEK II Series and TIA 568B Standards state that in order to certify these systems Certifiers must meet the Level III Accuracy specification contained in the Standards. IDEAL tests all LANTEK 6s, 6As and LanTEK® II-350, LanTEK® II-500 to verify that the Level III / IIIe specification is met and LANTEK 7Gs and LanTEK® II-1000 are also tested to verify that the Level IV / IVe specifications are met. Then periodically, the Intertek Testing Services (ITS) Division of ETL Semko verifies that randomly selected LANTEK 6, 6A, 7Gs as well as LanTEK® II-350, LanTEK® II-500 and LanTEK® II-1000 meet this Accuracy Specification. LANTEK 7Gs and LanTEK® II-1000 also come ready to test and certify ISO11801 CLASS Ea up to 500MHz and Fa systems up to 1 GHz. Although ISO / IEC 61935-1 does not yet contain a Level IVe Accuracy specification, one is being worked on and is draft form. ITS has verified that the LANTEK I and LanTEK® II series cable certifiers meet the requirements stated in the latest ISO / IEC 61935-1 ed. 3. TIA has recently completed work on a Category 6a Standard which will includes systems operating to 500 MHz. IDEAL has more than 5 years experience in measuring systems to 1000 MHz with an accuracy exceeding that of Level IV.
